How do I make my reservation?
Visit the Mar 1 Sport Fishing Contact information page , or contact us via Skype at markandtraceyincr. We will check available dates. When you have decided on a date, a deposit is required to hold your reservation. When we receive your deposit, we will send your reservation confirmation by email.
When do I need to pay for my quepos fishing trip?
A deposit must be received to hold your reservation. Full payment must be received before boarding your boat on your departure date. Cash is king in Costa Rica. You may pay the balance due in cash (U.S. dollars or colonies) at the dock on the day of your charter. If you choose, you may pay via credit card in advance of your trip. Due to the cost of handling credit card transactions, Mar 1 Sport Fishing charges a 5% service fee for using a credit card to pay your balance. Credit card payments must be handled at least 2 days in advance of your trip.
What happens in the event of a storm?
Storms are very rare in Quepos, however, every morning we check the weather before going out on the boat. If a storm is in the forecast, the trip will be canceled and you will receive a full refund, or you will have the option of rescheduling the trip.
